Is 3 a magic number?

The embryologist called this morning to give us an update. Of the 5 eggs collected yesterday, sadly 2 didn't survive the ICSI process (where they are injected with a sperm). But 3 have and are looking good. We are booked in for embryo transfer tomorrow at 11.30am.

I was hoping all 5 would survive but at least we have 3. With 3, I think I am leaning towards having 2 put back rather than 1, but we will have to discuss that tomorrow with the consultant and embryologist. If all 3 are grade A and capable of freezing I might be persuaded to go for 1 but if we would have none to freeze I would rather take my chances with twins.
